Long Island Marketing Companies & Relevance Of Netflix

By Rob Sutter

The past year brought to light some of the most dominant brands and I do not think that there has been a single one more prominent than Netflix. The TV and movie-streaming service has more than come into its own in recent times and I do not think that anyone can argue against the general impact it has possessed, either. What are some of the reasons for this, though, for those who may not be in the know? There are a couple of aspects that I believe Long Island marketing companies will be able to pinpoint.

It's a little tough to believe that something as big as Netflix was once on the verge of being closed down during 2011. It's tough to believe but an article on Mashable spoke about this, as well as the failure of a service named Qwikster. After seeing how little this idea has been able to attain success, it was dropped. It seems like streaming content and mailing DVDs, while older concepts for Netflix, were ones that did not have to be changed around for any reason.

Netflix has a wealth of content with many TV shows and movies to watch but what about original content, which Long Island marketing companies can tell you so much about? I believe that firms along the lines of fishbat can tell you about the series that Netflix itself has created in the past. "House of Cards" and "Orange is the New Black" stand as just a few of the examples that possess both strong stories and acting. In fact, I believe that many new customers signed up for the service in order to watch these popular programs.

I have to believe that it's because of Netflix that some of the greatest TV-viewing trends have come to the surface. For example, "binge-watching" has become such a pastime for a number of people and it is very easy for many of them to do. The idea of sitting down with an entire season of a particular show at their disposal is a leisurely actively that can prove to be quite satisfying. If you have a weekend or even a day to spare, it is very easy to get lost in a show, as Long Island marketing companies can tell you.

The fact that Netflix was named the Breakout Brand of 2013 is not exactly a small accomplish, given the competitive nature of business in general. A number of great things done right helped to make the brand stand out and the influx of content is hard to ignore. In 2014, I am certain that success will continue on, especially with the upcoming season two of "Orange is the New Black." To say that Netflix has the upper hand would be nothing short of an understatement.
